| With the first pick in the 2nd round miami selects............................... Goshder Cherilus OT Boston College Cherilus would beef up our line alot and would make an instant impact to help Brown and Our QB out. He could slot in at LT or RT and have carey in the other position. Parcells believes in building lines before anything else so that is what they are gonna do.

| With the 2nd pick in the draft Chargers select........................... Pat Sims DT Auburn The chargers need a DT to help stop the run. AP ran all over them along with other RB's. Sims is a big run stuffing DT. They traded down and picked up a 4th rounder to draft the same guywho they would have drafted in the first round. They also considered Dre Moore DT Maryland but Sims is a better prospect and most people have him rated higher than Moore.

| With the 4th pick in round 2, the Buccaneers select.................. Tracy Porter, CB Indiana CB was a major need for the Bucs from a depth and age stand point. Porter is a nice CB prospect, plus he is a returner which tampa lacks as well. | |

| With the 5th pick in the 2nd round of the draft the Jets select................. Jerod Mayo ILB Tennessee They considered Felix Jones but with the RB class so deep they went with a higher need in ILB. They traded away Vilma so this is a big need. With Gholston they would make a beastly LB core.

| With the 6th pick in the second round, the Falcons pick Brian Brohm QB Louisville I think everyone was convinced that Atlanta wasn't going to draft a QB, but with the strides they have made already in the draft and acquiring players, they can afford to draft Brohm, let him sit for a year while the line gels and the team gets more playing time as a whole and then step into the starting role in year two. Considering the new oline additions of Nick Kaczur and Sam Baker (and Justin Blaylock having another year under his belt at guard) this line should be much improved for when Brohm steps in. Having a good RB in Michael Turner doesn't hurt either. He also has more weapons in Roddy White and Antwaan Randle El. | |

| With the 7th pick in the 2nd round, the Pats select.................... Cliff Avril, DE/OLB Purdue The Pats lost their best pass rusher in Colvin to injury and then released him. They were hoping Gholston would fall to them in round 1, but the Jets took him one spot earlier. Avril has great speed and rush ability and should thrive in the 3-4 defense. | |

| With the 8th pick in the 2nd round, the 49ers select.................... DeSean Jackson, WR/PR, California The 49'ers need another reciever, and Isaac Bruce can groom Jackson into a future superstar. First round talent. | |

| With the 10th pick in the 2nd round, the Bills select.................. Fred Davis, TE, USC With the injury to Kevin Everett and Robert Royal not really that great of a TE, the Bills need a TE desperately. Davis is a great TE and the Bills get a steal by getting him in the second round. | |

| With the 11th pick in the 2nd round Miami selects.................................... Brandon Flowers CB Virginia Tech Some draft anlysis have flowers as there top CB, i dont see that but that has to say something about him. Kiper has him as a first round talent. Miami really needs a shut down CB and Flowers has shown he could be one. He is one of the best, if not the best tackling CB in the draft. He had a great pro day and boosted his stock. Miami got a steal here even though they traded up to get this pick, they also add a pick to there draft while trading up. its a gret value pick here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsMNyu77Ld8 | |

| With the 12th pick in the second round, the Panthers select........ Carl Nicks OT Nebraska Jordan Gross is better suited to be a right tackle, and was only franchised anyways, so whether or not he is their long term plan is unknown. Nicks is the last "big name" OT left in the draft, and the Panthers couldn't afford passing on him. They considered OL, but think that DeAngelo Williams deserves one year to be the primary back before they officially call it quits on him. The WR position was fixed via FA with Hackett and Muhammad added. Look for them to go defensive with their remaining picks. | |

| With the 13th pick in the second round, the Bears select........ Early Doucet Everyone may have disagreed with my pick of an OT in round 1, but now the Bears have two players with first round talent. Doucet is a great receiver who could spark some life into this offense. IMO, Jeff Otah and Early Doucet would be much better that Malcolm Kelly and K. Barton/J. Greco/A. Collins. Especially with Kelly's recent kneee concerns.

| With the 14th pick in round 2, The Lions select....................................... Xavier Adibi, OLB Virginia Tech
With the loss of Boss Bailey in FA, the Lions needed to add an OLB. DET considered trading for Channing Crowder from MIA, but felt that MIA valued him too high and decided to pick Adibi who is probably a better fit for DETs defense.

The Chiefs line is horrid. That's about all that needs said to explain this pick.

| With the 16th pick in the second round, the Vikings select.......... Lawrence Jackson DE USC
For years the Vikings have had a great run defense, but have struggled against the pass due to no pressure on QB's. Lawrence Jackson could be taken in the first round, so this is a good value/need pick. Jackson has great size and decent speed to excel in the 4-3.

| With the 17th pick in the second round, the Steelers select.......... Duane Brown, Virginia Tech They need two OT's and Brown can fill one of those spots. Maybe not the most athletic player, he def. has the size to play. | |

| With the 20th pick in Round 2, The Redskins select.......................... Terrell Thomas, CB/S USC
The Redskins need depth at both CB and S, and with the trade of Randle El they also could use a player who can be a returner, primarily a punt returner. Thomas fills all 3 needs.

| With the 21st pick in the second round, the Kansas City Chiefs select.................... Mario Manningham WR Kansas City's biggest remaining needs are OL/WR/CB. After the Redskins took Terrell Thomas, the Chiefs felt as if there were no CB's worth drafting, and the OL talent is a bit thin for second round talent at this point. They desperately need a #2 WR to help out Dwayne Bowe, and Manningham will be just that. He ran a slow 40 at the combine but improved it greatly at his pro day running a 4.42. Even with missing 4 games last season, he had 700 yards and 9 TD's. This guy is an absolute burner, and when he is on the field his ability to stretch the defense is second to none. He is a "gamer". | |

| With the 22nd pick in the second round, the Steelers select.................. Josh Barrett, Arizona State Anthony Smith is as terrible at FS as he is at predicting outcomes of games. Barrett has amazing athletic ability, and would be great next to Polomalu. | |

| With the 23rd pick in the 2nd round, the Titans select..................... Andre Caldwell WR Florida
The Titans definitely need some help at the WR position to help give Vince Young some weapons. Eddie Royal is ranked higher than Caldwell by some, but Caldwell has equal speed and better size. Also, Caldwell has produced better throughout his collegiate career playing against a very tough SEC schedule.

| With the 24th pick in the 2nd round, the Eagles select................... Tom Zbikowski, SS, Notre Dame After trading away Nickel back Lito Shephard, the Eagles will complete their secondary with Zbikowski. After signing Asante, they felt that they could trade Shephard, pick up a draft pick and adress a bigger need: Strong Safety. Sean Considine will make a fine backup, but he by no means a good starter. Samuels, Dawkins, Zbikowski and S. Brown make a great secondary. | |

| With the 25th pick in the 2nd round, The Packers select.......................... Dustin Keller, TE Purdue
Green Bay loves having 2 TEs and with Bubba Franks gone, Keller can step in behind Donald Lee. Keller is a short for a TE at 6'2", but he is very athletic and has shown a great vertical.
