| With the 23rd pick in the 2nd round, the Steelers select................ Tom Zbikowski, S, Notre Dame Anthony Smith is terrible, so they need a replacement. Zbikowski can also help them out in the return game, where he can replace Rossum. | |

| With the 24th pick in the second round of the NFL draft, the Titans pick........... Curtis Lofton LB Oklahoma Lofton is a solid tackler, if not one of the best in the entire country. Titans still need a little help on the defensive side of the ball and also depth. Lofton could start from day one and make an impact. There were no good CB, S or DE picks here, so Lofton was the best choice for Tennesee. | |

| With the 25th pick in the second round of the NFL draft, the Seahawks pick........... Roy Shuening, OG Oregon State After Losing Steve Hutchinson to the Vikings the Seahawks running game was bad. Actually that is too nice of a word to discribe how bad it was, lets use stunk. Shaun Alexander went form breaking the single season rushing TD record the season with Steve to a guy who averaged around 2 yards a carry. With the Seahawks drafting Jonathan Stewart in the first round and Schuening here, there running game should be back on track.

| With the 26th pick in the second round of the NFL draft, the Jaguars pick........... Craig Steltz, SS LSU With Sammy Knight being 32 years old (and if we are using FA class, they got ride of him. Knight currently on Giants now) they need a SS to replace him. There isnt any big holes to fill for the Jaguars besides SS and Steltz would complement the Jags first round pick Reggie Nelson FS. I also looked at WR but now one really jumped out as well as CB's.

| With the 27th pick in the second round of the NFL draft, the Dolphins pick........... Jonathan Goff, ILB Vanderbilt The Dolphins are in a big need for LB's now that they are switching to a 3-4 defense and now that 7 time pro bowler was released and signed but Dallas. Jonathan Goof is a Big LB (bill parcells kind of a guy) and really impressed at the combine by running one of the fastest 40 time by and ILB. This Pick has been traded three times now but the Dolphins had to make a move and trade up because they were afraid that the Colts (could use a ILB) or the Patriots (BIG NEED for ILB) would take him so we moved ahead of both teams by pretty much switching 4th rounders with GB. | With the 28th pick in the second round, the Cowboys pick.... Cliff Avril DE/OLB Purdue Greg Ellis was a great oLB for the Cowboys last year and even won a comeback player of the year award. However, he is old and they also may lose Bobby Carpenter and Marcus Spears. Their defense could use some depth, and adding a lightning fast aggressive Cliff Avril will do just that. He will eventually replace Ellis as the starter opposite of DeMarcus Ware. | |

| With the 29th pick in the second round, the Colts pick.... Chris Ellis, Virginia Tech Dwight Freeney had some injury concerns last year and with few offensive guards available with round two ability, the colts draft for depth. Can also play OLB | |

| With the 30th pick in round 2, the Packers select............................ Ahtyba Rubin, DT Iowa State
Rubin keeps soaring up the draft boards and his combine numbers were pretty good. He ran a 5.17 40 and put up 35 reps. That shows his strength and his 40 time for a man his size, 6'2" 315, is pretty good. Rubin will add to an already fierce Packers D-Line

| With the 31st pick in round 2, the Patriots select............................. Terrence Wheatley, CB Colorado
Wheatly was very impressive at the combine and was projected as a late 2nd - 3rd round prospect. The Patriots are in need for help in the secondary with Samuel and Gay leaving via Free Agency.

| With the final pick in the second round the Giants pick.............. Erin Henderson OLB Maryland Erin Henderson registered 18 tackles in a crucial game against Clemson last season that helped set the tone for Maryland's strong push at the end of last season. Henderson fit's NYG's 4-3 and has perfect size to accel at the OLB spot. They lost Torbor to the Dolphin's in FA, and Henderson should be able to come in and play possibly even better than him. Henderson also has good speed, running a 4.71 at the combine which is pretty good for a 242 lb linebacker. | |
